By enrolling at All Beauty College in Arizona, you can. You can take courses over several months to become a registered nail technician, where your job would be to beautify women’s nails every single day. Are you ready to change your life and get a new career? Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting career path.

What Is a Nail Technician?

A nail technician offers services like nail polish application, synthetic nail treatments, shaving away rough calluses, grooming nail cuticles, shaping nails, pedicures, and manicures. You may also perform certain message techniques meant to soothe your customers as well as apply lotion to the feet and hands for better hydration and moisture.

You will have to know a variety of nail decorating skills, such as how to put decals and jewels on nails, how to airbrush nails and paint designs on nails, how to apply gel and acrylic fake nails, and more.

How Do You Become One?

To become a nail technician, you have to attend a beauty school. It’s recommended you have furthered your education to the point where you’ve earned your GED. Once you start attending classes at the beauty school, you will eventually be asked to complete a licensing exam. This license allows you to officially start working as a nail technician.

It sometimes takes several months to several years to finish your schooling. You may spend up to two years earning your associate’s degree, or you may decide to spend less time on your education and just take courses at a beauty school. If so, it often takes less than a year before you can start working.
